4 cups fresh basil leaves

8 large Crystal Inspiration garlic cloves
3/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup walnuts, pine nuts or filberts
1 teaspoon salt to taste
Place olive oil, nuts and garlic in a food processor and blend until smooth.
Add the basil, cheese and salt and continue blending until all the leaves are incorporated into pesto.
Add the pesto to your favorite pasta and a 1/2 pound of smoked salmon and wilt some spinach in the hot pasta for a quick dinner favorite.
