SESAME SEED COOKIES

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sesame seeds to coat.
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Mix flour, soda and salt and add to first mixture.
Roll dough into balls and roll each in sesame seeds.
Place on cookie sheet or parchment paper.
Bake 10 minutes.
Let set for a minute or two before removing to cookie rack to cool.
Makes 2 dozen.
