I hope to see your family at our first Bham Fam Fair Saturday, March 28.
The Bham Fam Fair will allow you to explore more than 50 Whatcom County businesses and services that cater to families. Doors open at 10 a.m. at the Bellingham Sportsplex, 1225 Civic Field Way. Tickets are $6 per person, or $22.50 for families of up to six, in advance; $8 per person at the door. Admission for kids 2 and younger is free.
The fair will offer up all kinds of family fun. Recess Monkey, a popular Seattle kids’ band, brings its singable, danceable songs to the stage at 11 a.m. Children’s recording artist Chris Ballew, better known as Caspar Babypants, sings folk nursery rhymes at 3 p.m.
Barbara Jean Hicks, author of books based on the movie “Frozen!” will read and sign books in the ice rink area of the Sportsplex from 1 to 5 p.m. Princess Elsa of Arendelle will be there to say hello as well.

Admission also provides all-day fun including ice skating, jump castles by Jump Around Fun Zone, climbing wall by Vital Gym, craft corner by Perch and Play, face painting by Chelle Beautiful, and photo booth by Fresh Pics.
Food trucks, including those from Cicchetti’s Pizza, Chihuahua’s Mexican Restaurant, Grant’s Burgers, Mallard Ice Cream and Spartan Espresso, will be selling food outside the Sportsplex
Bham Fam Fair tickets can be purchased in advance at bhamfamfair.com; $1 of each admission goes to Communities in Schools of Whatcom County.
