Charles "Lloyd" Fenton is celebrating his 90th Birthday on Saturday, December 12 with a family dinner. Born in Blaine, he has lived most of his life in Custer. He and his late wife Eileen raised six children on a small family farm. Mr. Fenton lives in Bellingham. His daughters, Yvonne Fenton, Sandra Massey, Wanda Moore and Marsha Fischer live in Whatcom County and son Ron Fenton in Hawaii. He misses his late son Richard Fenton and granddaughter Trisha Macklin. He has three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren living in the Northwest and he loves it when they stop in to visit. He farmed while working at Alaska Packers at Semiahmoo and later he spent fishing seasons in Alaska as a machinist. Mr. Fenton is a big sports fan and enjoys watching baseball and football on TV.
