Karl H. Studebaker celebrated his 90th birthday Sunday, Nov. 9th at a dinner party hosted by his wife, Mary, and family members. Entertainment included music by Merilee Stewart, Leora Patterson and Lori Wooldredge, table top magic by Magician Sterling Dietz, and a media presentation of Karl’s life from childhood to present.
Karl is a descendent of the Studebakers who immigrated to America in 1736. He was born in Colville, Wash., on Nov. 12, 1918, and grew up in Sedro Woolley. After high school he joined the Navy serving in the Pacific arena during World War II.
Karl has 2 sons; Tom of Sedro Woolley, and Ken of La Palma, Calif.; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Karl attributes his good health and longevity to hard work, clean living, and good genes.
