William and Patsey Blunt celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to New England to view the fall foliage. Following the trip, a family dinner celebrating the event was hosted by their children and spouses, Gordon and Kristina Blunt of Mill Creek, Rodney and Karee Blunt of Burlington, and Tamara Blunt of Lyman.
Patsey is retired from the National Park Service in Sedro Woolley and Bill is a retired teacher from Concrete High School, and also retired from the Skagit County Board of Equalization. The couple is active with the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and with their ten grandchildren and one great-grandson. They were married October 5th, 1958, in Custer, Washington and currently reside at their farm in Lyman.
