Imogene Pederson of Bellingham will celebrate her 80th birthday with a private celebration with her family. Born in Fredonia, KS, on September 6th, 1928, to Harry and Maude Mount, her family moved to Ferndale where she met Irvin Pederson Jr. They were married on June 20th, 1951. Imogene spent her working career as a bookkeeper for Irwin Hardware in Ferndale until her retirement on June 9th 1979. During that time she raised three children, Vanetta & (Chuck) Durham, Wayne & (Teresa) Pederson and Jay & (Leslie) Pederson. She has three grandchildren, Joe, Melissa and Derek and one great-grandchild, Kaylin. Imogene loves sports of all kinds, crocheting & knitting. She really enjoys being surrounded by family and friends. She is well known for her kind heart and thoughtfulness of others.
