Doris and Chuck Randall will celebrate their 60th anniversary on August 24, from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM at Garden Street United Methodist Church, 1326 North Garden Street. Their family, son John, daughter, Jennifer, and son Jeff, his wife, Hideko Todoroki, and his daughter Novella, hope friends and family will be able to join them Sunday to celebrate.
Chuck grew up in the Spokane Valley and went on to Eastern Washington University, where he met Doris Reihl. They were married in Walla Walla, Doris’ home town by Chuck’s grandfather, the Reverend Harvey Randall in the Pioneer Methodist Church on August 22, 1948.
They both launched their careers teaching at Opportunity Grade School in the Spokane Valley. In 1962 Chuck started coaching basketball at Western Washington University, where he coached until February 17, 1981.
They still reside in Bellingham and are enjoying retirement on the Lake Paden Golf Course.
