Billy Creek of Bellingham will celebrate his 80th birthday at an open house at 2 o'clock p.m. on Sunday, June 29th at Cedar Grove Mobile Park in the club house. Friends and relatives are welcome.
Bill was born on June 25, 1928, in Crescent, Oklahoma and raised in the Cherokee Indian Mission Orphanage in Oakes, Oklahoma. Bill was a USAF Tech Sergeant when he retired after 20 years in the Armed Forces. Bill was employed by Boeing for three years before working at Intalco as a maintenance electrician before retiring after 20 years.
He belonged to the Men’s Fellowship group at Immanuel Bible Church for many years. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was a member of the Rainbow Squares dancing group, where he met his second wife, Eleanor Flanders. He now is a member of Northlake Community Church & the Bellingham Senior Center. Bill enjoys going to Hong Kong Garden restaurant for lunch and to visit his friends. He enjoys spending as much time with his family as he can. He has 4 living children, 2 deceased children, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He attributes his longevity to having courage, faith, and integrity.
