Maurice Lewis Miller of Elkhart, Indiana, and Marianne (nee Waymire) Miller of Lapel, Indiana, were married 60 years ago on June 6, 1948 in Indiana. They raised their family in Cincinnati, Ohio, where Maurice, a public accountant, owned Miller, Koenig accounting firm, and Marianne was a successful realtor. They have two daughters, Maryse (Terradan) Sagewynd of Whatcom County, and Jan (Terry) Anderson of Lexington, Indiana, five grandchildren (Jason, Joshua, Jennifer, Sarah and Evan) and two grandchildren. They retired in 1991 to Madison, Indiana to be near their grandchildren. In Spring 2008, they relocated cross-country by train to Bellingham to be near their daughter Maryse, niece Karen (Darrel) Noland and grand-niece Jocelyn (Jeremy) Williams of Bellingham, and second cousin Bob (Gina) Arnold of Alger, Washington. Lifelong Methodists, the Millers attend Garden Street United Methodist Church in Bellingham.
