Jack and Twila Welch celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Anthony's. They were married on February 8, 1948 in Bellingham, WA.

Jack retired from the Texaco Refinery in Anacortes in 1983 after working there for 26 years. Twila owned and operated her own drapery business until 1980. They have lived in Whatcom County all their married life and attend Northside Community Church.

Their children are Bob and Marilyn Welch of Mt. Vernon, Ray and Patti Johnson of Ferndale, Dick and Marilyn Welch of Maple Falls and John and Diane Welch of Blaine. They are also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
