Lindsay Beth Wichers and John James Stanek were married Friday, October 5, 2007 at five thirty in the evening at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, NC. Reverend William Thompson officiated. A reception was held at the Old Well Room of The Carolina Inn immediately following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Vicki Wichers of Everson and the granddaughter of Price and Phyllis Hale of Bellingham and Eldon and Dena Wichers of Arlington.
Parents of the groom are Carl and Bernice Stanek of Muscoda, WI.
Friends of the bride, Kristen Kucera and Tia Accetta, were maid of honor and bridesmaid, respectively. Friends of the groom AJ Mayorga and Todd Krantz, served as best man and groomsman, respectively. Niece of the bride, McKenna Wichers and niece of the groom, Sara Williams served as flower girls.

The bride graduated from Sehome High School and the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005.
The groom graduated from St. Joseph Central High School in Huntington, WV and Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. He received his Ph.D. in Toxicology from the University of Connecticut in Storrs in 1999.
Both the bride and groom are currently employed at the Environmental Protection Agency in Research Triangle Park, NC. The couple honeymooned in Sonoma, CA and currently resides in Durham, NC.
