Sheri Michelle Pfeffer and John Dennis Roach exchanged wedding vows August 25th, 2007 at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Seattle.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Barb Pfeffer of Red Wing, MN. She graduated from The Evergreen State College with a degree in Liberal Arts and is employed as an Administrative Assistant at T-Mobile in Bellevue. The groom is the son of Ralph and Marilou Roach of Seattle. He graduated from Renton Technical College and is employed as a Mechanic with the City of Seattle.
John surprised Sheri with a tulip bouquet and picnic lunch on Camano Island for their first date. More than a year later he proposed on Christmas Eve. John bent down on one knee at the International Fountain as it played "The First Noel."
Sheri and John hosted an Italian-themed wedding to celebrate John's heritage. The groom constructed a garden cart with hanging baskets of biscotti and breadsticks. Guests feasted on bruschetta, crab-stuffed ravioli, meatballs, and marzipan-covered cake. Guests were sent home with pizzelle cookies and Italian puppets.

The bride's attendants included: Shannon Garvich; Angela LoGrande; Samantha Zimmerman; Sarah Thirtyacre; Jessica Severson; Shea, Kylee, and Damian (children of Kelly and Dustin Cissell). The groomsmen included: Paul Roach, Ryan Roach, Jeremiah Jewell, and Richard Leitzen.
Special note: John saved the water from the flowers and used it in the floral arrangements the wedding.
The couple honeymooned at Turtle Bay in Oahu, Hawaii and now reside in Seattle, Washington.
