Cosmos Bistro at 1155 N. State St. reminds “Pokémon Go” players there are two Pokéstops across the street and one down the block. Stop by for happy hour, 3-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, for $1 off all drinks. They’ve even come up with Pokémon team drinks: mango for Team Instinct, strawberry for Team Valor and blueberry swirl for Team Mystic.

La Fiamma Wood Fire Pizza, 200 E. Chestnut St., is in on the Poké trend, too. Just ask for the Pokeball Pizza.

Olive Garden, at 4276 Guide Merian Road, is offering free appetizer or dessert for Poké trainers with the purchase of two entrees. Use code 84, according to its Facebook page.

What’s shakin’ at Boomers?

Boomer’s special milkshake flavor for July is s’mores. The treat features hand-scooped and local Edaleen Dairy ice cream.

And the July burger special is Boomer’s Red, White and Blue Burger. Start with a quarter-pound beef patty, top with blue cheese and red and white grilled onions and dressed with its American sauce. All accompanied with lettuce, tomato and dill pickle between a sesame seed bun for $4.89.

Boomer’s Drive-In is at 310 N. Samish Way.

Thai take on coffee

Asian 1 offers a different take on coffee with Thai iced coffee – topped with your choice of cream or coconut milk. And if that Costco run has you beat, try the adult Thai coffee with Bailey’s.

Find Asian 1 at 4285 Meridian St., Suite 101.
