The best pumpkin dessert in Whatcom County
Pure Bliss Desserts’ pumpkin cheesecake received six votes and was named as the best pumpkin dessert in Whatcom County.
“Our pumpkin cheesecake is creamy, smooth, and perfectly spiced. We make our own graham crackers for the crust and then top it with slightly sweetened whipped cream made with local whipping cream, then dust it with cinnamon. It also happens to be gluten-free, so it is an easy and delicious dessert to share with friends and loved ones during this time of year,” Andi Vann, owner of Pure Bliss Desserts wrote in an email to the Bellingham Herald.
Pure Bliss Desserts creates cakes, cookies, tarts, cupcakes, muffins, and other specialty desserts such as tortes, cheesecake and dessert wedges.
The bakery also has a rotating monthly menu of special flavors and desserts, including November’s ginger spice cake, caramel pecan tart, gingerbread loaf and pumpkin cheesecake bundt.
The dessert shop is also popular online, receiving a 4.5-star rating from 292 Yelp reviews.
“Our mission has been and will always be spreading joy to our community and beyond through delectable desserts ... and it is an honor to be able to be a part of our customer’s table during this holiday season,” Vann wrote.
If you want a pumpkin cheesecake for your Thanksgiving celebration this year, Vann recommends ordering online in advance by noon on Saturday, Nov. 18. The bakery will also be closed Nov. 24 through 27.
