See vintage planes take to the air

Fly Day at the Heritage Flight Museum is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Skagit Regional Airport, 15053 Crosswind Drive, west of Burlington.

In its new location, the museum is situated right on the runways, so visitors can see the antique aircraft up close and hear their powerful engines as they soar into the sky.

Not all planes are available for flight demonstrations every month, but planes include an A-1 Skyraider fighter-bomber, a P-51D Mustang fighters, and an AT-6 Texan trainer.

For details, call 360-424-5151 or go to heritageflight.org. Find the museum on Facebook at Heritage Flight Museum and follow it on Twitter @HeritageFltMus.
