Western Washington University planetarium offers star shows

The astronomy film “Stars of the Pharaohs” will be shown 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, in the Dr. Leslie E. Spanel Planetarium on the third floor of Haggard Hall at Western Washington University. The public presentation features an astronomer discussing the stars, with question-and-answer time, followed by the full-dome movie.

Tickets are $10, or $5 with student ID from any school. The presentation is appropriate for ages 8 years and older. There’s no admission after the show starts.

People can order tickets through the WWU box office at tickets.wwu.edu or by calling 360-650-6146; tickets are not sold at the door.
