Writer Daniel Handler discusses new Lemony Snicket book at WWU

Award-winning and wildly popular young adult and children’s writer Daniel Handler, also known by his pen name Lemony Snicket, presents “Why Does Lemony Snicket Keep Following Me?” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in the Western Washington University Performing Arts Center, 516 High St.

General admission is $25; $20 for WWU students with valid identification. A book signing will follow.

Handler’s 2011 novel of teen angst, “Why We Broke Up,” won a Michael J. Printz Honor for young adult writing. As Lemony Snicket, he is the author of best-selling series “A Series of Unfortunate Events” and “All The Wrong Questions.” Snicket’s new “Shouldn’t You Be in School” was released this month.
