A special exhibit celebrates Washington’s upcoming 125-year anniversary with “125 Years of Washington Quilts,” showing examples from both the Skagit County Historical Museum and the Quilt and Textile Museum in La Conner. Featured is a quilt made by a woman who marched in the 1889 statehood parade, according to the museum website.
The exhibit runs through Nov. 16 at the Skagit County Historical Museum, 401 S. Fourth St., LA Conner. Admission is$5 for adults, $4 for seniors and children ages 6-12. Museum members and children 5 and under are admitted free. There’s a special family rate of $10 for a family of four.
