Fall classes, presentations and activities are open for registration at the Padilla Bay nature center in the Skagit County coastal village of Bay View.
Among the more interesting programs are cider pressing and “Wild Edible and Medicinal Plants for Fall,” which is oriented toward older children and adults. The quarterly aquarium tour and fish feeding is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.
Most classes are free and offen fill quickly, so it’s best to register early at padillabay.gov or by calling 360-428-1558.
Breazeale Interpretive Center is at 10441 Bayview-Edison Road, Mount Vernon. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Admission is free.
