Legendary '70s Rocker Announces Tour 46 Years After Final Show With Iconic Band
Robert Plant, former frontman of the iconic '70s rock band Led Zeppelin, has announced a massive U.S. tour with his band Saving Grace and co-vocalist Suzi Dian. The exciting news was announced Tuesday afternoon via Instagram, immediately generating enthusiasm from longtime fans.
The tour, dubbed the Up the Sharp End tour, will travel to 16 major cities across the U.S., commencing on September 18 in St. Louis, Missouri and concluding a month later in Chicago, Illinois. The trek follows the group's spring U.S. run, which was designed to highlight music from Plant's twelfth studio album, Saving Grace, released on September 26, 2025. Acclaimed alt-country singer-songwriter Rosie Flores is set to join the group for select dates as support.

The Up the Sharp End tour marks 46 years since Plant's final show with the band that launched his career. The group's 1980 show in Berlin concluded an era of rock history, officially closing out the original lineup of Led Zeppelin until their brief reunion concert in December of 2007.
Since breaking things off with the Grammy-winning band, Plant has released 12 studio albums and three collaborative projects, proving his lasting ability to create impactful works that connect with audiences.
Pre-sale tickets for the Up the Sharp End tour will be available on Wednesday at 10 a.m. General sale will open on Friday at the same time on Plant's official website.
