Whatcom Symphony Orchestra hosts superstar German-Canadian cellist Johannes Moser, performing Dvorak’s Cello Concerto, a highlight of the solo cello repertoire, at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St. The symphony also will perform Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition,” arranged by Maurice Ravel.
Ed Rutschman presents a pre-concert lecture in the theater’s Encore room one hour prior to the concert. Admission to the lecture is free, but seating is limited.
