Margo Murphy and John Roberts’ vocal blend brings tenderness and heartache to every song. With tasteful acoustic guitar work and heartfelt harmony, they perform vintage country, early bluegrass. and a sprinkle of pop from when pop was top.
They will perform at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Honey Moon Mead & Cider, 1053 N. State St. (behind Pepper Sisters).
Raised on different shores of Puget Sound, Murphy and Roberts each fostered a love for duet harmony singing.
Murphy, well-versed in both country and jazz, has serenaded couples on Seattle dance floors and released two CDs, accompanied by Northwest jazz luminaries.
