Expect the unexpected with The Flying Karamazov Brothers, featuring the four self-proclaimed eccentric lunatics spicing things up with a zany showcase filled with laugh-out-loud comedy, wild theatrics, arcane errata, and astonishing juggling feats, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Skagit Valley College’s McIntyre Hall, 2501 E. College Way, Mount Vernon.
Formed at University California, Santa Cruz, in 1973, The Flying Karamazov Brothers have been seen around the world and on Broadway, television and the big screen.
They are not, however, your father's wild-haired, flame-throwing, juggling, kilt-and-tutu-wearing performers. They are beloved by adults, students who watch “Glee,” tourists, theatergoers, theater-avoiders, pseudo-intellectuals, friendless geeks, kids (but only gifted ones with solid backgrounds in the classics), and politicians.
Tickets are $33. Details: www.mcintyrehall.org, 360-416-7727, ext. 2.
