The Summer Youth Theatre Institute at Western Washington University is presenting a pair of films on Sunday, Feb. 15, that came out of the institute’s “Monster Keeper” stage performances last August. The films will show at Western’s Performing Arts Center.
At 2 p.m., there will be a screening of “Monster Keeper: Live on Film!,” a film version of the new “Monster Keeper” stage play, adapted from the best-selling young adult novel “Demonkeeper,” written by Bellingham’s Royce Buckingham.
At 3:15 p.m., there will be a screening of a behind-the-scenes documentary about the play.
A raffle will precede the second screening. The winner receives a basket of goodies from local vendors.
