“Late Night Catechism III: ’Til Death Do Us Part” is staged at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14, at Skagit Valley College’s McIntyre Hall Performing Arts Center, 2501 E. College Way, Mount Vernon.
After teaching countless students about the saints, venial sins and limbo, Sister is now offering hilarious lessons on the Sacraments of Marriage and the Last Rites, including her own wacky version of “The Newlywed Game.” Classroom participation is a must, so bring along your sweetie and your sense of humor for some quality time with Sister, the feistiest new couples counselor in town.
Maripat Donovan, the show’s star and co-creator (with writing partner Vicki Quade), plays the unnamed nun whose understanding of Catholic teachings is often a bit sketchy.
Tickets are $25, reserved seating. For a Valentine’s Day special, enjoy a three-course dinner and the show for $100 per couple.
