Film: ‘Trailer Wars! 42: Revenge Movies’ comes to the Pickford

It’s Bellingham’s premier fake-trailer competition. With a different theme every time, “Trailer Wars!” is a time for hilarity and creativity by local filmmakers.

With only nine editions of “Trailer Wars!” remaining, the public is invited to tell stories of vengeance in movie trailer form at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Pickford Film Center, 1318 Bay St.

“Trailer Wars!” is an ongoing short-film game in Bellingham that encourages local creative people to craft fake movie trailers based on a rotating set of criteria. As always, “Trailer Wars!” is open to anyone interested in participating; or come just to watch.

Admission is $2. Details: 360-738-0735, youtube.com/trailerwars, trailerwarsbellingham.org/howto, trailerwars@gmail.com.
