The Salish Sea Early Music Festival Concert series presents “Winds of the Baroque” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 2117 Walnut St.
Jeffrey Cohan, Anna Marsh, and Jonathan Oddie present chamber music for wind instruments and harpsichord from the courts of Louis XIV, Louis XV, and Frederick the Great.
Marsh, who grew up in Tacoma, is in constant demand as one of the premier players of the baroque bassoon. Baroque flutist Jeffrey Cohan has won two of the most prestigious awards for performers of early music, and plays all over the globe.
They team up with harpsichordist Oddie for the Salish Sea festival performance.
