Mount Baker Theatre presents ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ musical based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel

The epic struggle between good and evil comes to life in a new production of the musical Jekyll & Hyde” at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St.

Based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson and featuring a score of pop rock hits from multi-Grammy and Tony-nominated Frank Wildhorn and double-Oscar and Grammy-winning Leslie Bricusse, “Jekyll & Hyde” is an evocative tale of two men — one a doctor, passionate and romantic, the other a terrifying madman — and two women — one, beautiful and trusting, the other beautiful and trusting only herself. Both women are in love with the same man. Both are unaware of his dark secret.

Their story unfolds in the musical thriller resplendent with a sumptuous score including the “This Is the Moment,” “Someone Like You” and “A New Life.” The production includes mature content; parental discretion is advised.
