Artist Profile: Neighborhood Playhouse reprises ‘A Year with Frog and Toad’

The Neighborhood Playhouse revives its 2012 production, “A Year with Frog and Toad,” starring (again) Jim Lortz and Jerry McGarity, joined by a new cast of birds, moles, squirrels, a lizard, turtle and of course a snail with the mail.

Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way about true friendship.

The play is on stage at 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, and Jan. 10; 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, and Jan. 11; and 7 p.m. Jan. 9, at Bellingham Theatre Guild, 1600 H St. The 5 p.m. show on Jan. 10 will be ASL-interpreted.
