The Walrus plays Dec. 27 at the Wild Buffalo

The Walrus plays an early show from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Wild Buffalo, 208 W. Holly St. Doors at 6 p.m.

One of the Northwest’s favorite bands, The Walrus has been energizing clubs, parties, weddings, and outdoor events since 1995. The band’s vocally rich and intricate arrangements include songs by the Beatles, Queen, the Jackson 5, the B-52s, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Roy Orbison, Jefferson Airplane, Heart, Talking Heads and Aretha Franklin.

The Walrus is made up of five seasoned professionals — Chuck Dingée, Jamie Shea, Michael O’Neal, Dave Lyon and Vic Smith —who care about making every event and performance fun, smooth and enjoyable. All of them sing, enabling the band to perform songs most cover bands would never think of trying, such as Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Cover is $7. Details: wildbuffalo.net.
