Eugene Morris Jerome, who is 15, narrates his journey through adolescence in Neil Simon’s semiautobiograhical play “Brighton Beach Memoirs,” set in 1937 New York and presented by Bellingham High School’s drama club.
In his detailed journal in the play, Eugene tells of his eccentric family, including his older brother, Stanley; his parents, Jack and Kate; his Aunt Blanche; and his cousins Laurie and Nora.
Come and have a seat at the Jeromes’ dinner table at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 20-22, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at Bellingham High School, 2020 Cornwall Ave., for a time of laughter in the heartwarming tale of family woes and inner strength. Kelly Glasgow directs.
