Adam Miller will perform American folk songs and autoharp instrumentals at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at Nancy’s Farm, 2030 E. Smith Road, Bellingham. Miller is a renowned American folksinger and natural-born storyteller who accompanies his rich baritone voice with lively finger-picking acoustic guitar and autoharp melodies.
An accomplished folklorist, historian, song collector and musicologist, he has amassed a repertoire of more than 5,000 songs. Traveling 70,000 miles a year, he performs more than 200 concerts annually, from the Everglades to the Arctic Circle.
More than a million American students have attended his “Singing Through History” school assembly programs, and he has performed in more than 2,000 American libraries in 48 states. (He has yet to tour in Hawaii and Mississippi).
