“Chuckanut Radio Hour,” a locally produced radio variety show, features a trio of Northwest writers with musical guests the Prozac Mountain Boys at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in the Heiner Theater inside the Heiner Center at Whatcom Community College, 231 W. Kellogg Road.
Tickets are $5 and are available at Village Books, 1200 11th St., and online at BrownPaperTickets.com. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the audience must be seated by 6:45 p.m. because the show begins promptly at 7.
Writers William Dietrich, Christian Martin and Craig Romano will be interviewed about their book, “The North Cascades: Finding Beauty and Renewal in the Wild Nearby.” Dietrich is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and novelist and a Western Washington University graduate; Romano is a noted local guidebook author; and Martin is communications coordinator at the North Cascades Institute.
