Leo Adams, a member of the Yakima nation, expresses his vision of nature and the landscape surrounding his celebrated home, through painting, architecture and decor. His “Eastern Light” exhibit in Whatcom Museum’s Lightcatcher’s second-floor gallery, 250 Flora St., features work from private collectors as well as new paintings by the artist.
The exhibit runs Sunday, Nov. 2, through Feb. 22.
Adams will talk about his work at 2 p.m. Sunday in Whatcom Museum’s Old City Hall, 121 Prospect St. Numerous special events take place during the exhibit’s run. Details: 360-778-8930, whatcommuseum.org.
