People can learn about the connection the ancient Egyptians felt with the stars in a “star talk” and screening of the full-dome move “Stars of the Pharoahs,” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Dr. Leslie E. Spanel Planetarium on Western Washington University’s campus. Because of the time the film crew spent in Egypt taking photographs and measurements, viewers will see spectacular temples and tombs of the ancient world recreated in their original splendor.
The event features a question-and-answer period. Admission: $5 general; $3 students of any school.
Digital Access for only $0.99
