Author of fictionalized tale about Harry Houdini to appear on Chuckanut Radio Hour

The Chuckanut Radio Hour welcomes Steven Galloway, author of “The Cellist of Sarajevo,” to discuss his new book, “The Confabulist,” a fictionalized tale of the extraordinary life and sudden death of Harry Houdini, on Thursday, Sept. 11, at Whatcom Community College’s Heiner Center Theatre, 231 W. Kellogg Road.

The radio show also features performance poet Kevin Murphy, Cascadia Weekly columnist Alan Rhodes and an episode of "The Bellingham Bean" serial radio comedy, with hosts Chuck and Dee Robinson and announcer Rich Donnelly. Musical guest is guitarist and singer Sarah Goodin.

Tickets are $5, available at Village Books and through Brown Paper Tickets. People receive one free ticket with each pre-event, in-store purchase of “The Confabulist.”
