On December 1, 2007 a brave group of people endured freezing temperatures and multiple alcoholic beverages for a good cause: to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.
The State Street Stroll started at the Callaloo, moved to the Royal and then Usices. Nearly 100 people took part in the stroll.
The stroll raised over $1,500, and Uisces donated 20 percent of its profits to the cause.
Prizes were raffled off, with the most sought after prize being a pair of Sonics tickets.
The State Street Stroll was a good time and the event organizers were pleased with the turnout. The next stroll will take place the first or second week of April and the MS Walk is April 12.
