Pitcher Mitch Ludtke struck out 14 and allowed only two hits, but King Nissan Post 7 fell to the Langley Blaze 2-1 in Senior Legion baseball play Wednesday, July 16 at Langley, B.C.

King Nissan (16-12-1) scored its only run in the seventh inning. Tenny Pitsch walked, Michael Takemura singled, and Pitsch scored when Casey Locker hit into an error.

Ludtke (3-2) threw a 79-pitch complete game, but Langley scored one run in each of the first and third innings.

King Nissan hosts the Abbotsford Cardinals at Joe Martin Field at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 17.
