The Bellingham Bells scored three runs in the final two innings Saturday but couldn’t catch Corvallis, losing 7-5 at Joe Martin Field in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League action.
Dustin Horsfall (2-3) took the loss for the Bells, giving up nine hits and seven runs while striking out two and walking six in five innings of work.
Kai Hatch was 2 for 4 with two RBI, and Scott Hardinger was 2 for 2 with a run and 2 RBI.
The Bells finish up the homestand with a 4 p.m. start at home against Corvallis and then hit the road for six games, starting Tuesday in Spokane.
