For decades a destination trout fishing in the Okanogan, Spectacle's fishery has suffered through the introduction of nuisance spiny rays and is now in post rehabilitation phase. The recently introduced brown trout are intended to quell any sunfish resurgence.
Angler notes: Opening day average catch was 3.9 trout per angler. Three resorts plus camping space at the state access offer plenty of room for over-nighting and boat rentals.
