The Squalicum girls’ soccer team wrapped up an undefeated regular season with a 4-1 Northwest Conference win over Lynden on Monday, Oct. 27, at Civic Stadium.
Kim Dorr, Julia DeVere, Braeden Hilleary and Kim Hazlett each scored for the Storm (15-0-1 overall, 11-0-1 NWC). Michell Saunders, Kelly Anderson and Jessica DeVere added an assist each for Squalicum.
“The girls did a nice job coming in today; you could see they were having fun and making nice runs with good combination play,” Squalicum coach David Kish said in a phone interview.
Emily Holt had 16 saves in net for the Lions (6-5-5, 4-5-3), which had a goal from Sierra Smith.
Squalicum next heads to the Class 2A Northwest District as the top seed and will open play on Saturday, Nov. 1.
