Blaine’s boys’ basketball team took advantage of 17-of-20 free throw shooting in a 75-56 win over Chimacum on Saturday, Dec. 13, at Chimacum.
Shaq Woods led the Borderites with 22 points.
“Shaq had a great game. They went 2-3 zone so we did a great job getting him the ball,” Blaine coach Shaun Pile said in a phone interview. “He did just about anything we needed him to do.”
Anthony Ball added 14 points for the Borderites, and Kier Munzanreder had 10 more.
Blaine has a bit of a break, playing next at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at home against Burlington-Edison in Northwest Conference action.
