Bellingham’s boys’ golf team took first at a boys’ golf event on Tuesday, April 21, at Avalon Golf Course behind the standout play of Nick Nolan.
Nolan took the medalist position with a 69, leading the Red Raiders to a 412 team score.
“He had it going for quite a while there,” Bellingham coach David Bobillot said in a phone interview. “He made some birdies and just putted well. He made a lot of good, long putts and had three birdies in a row on one side and had a couple on the other side.”
Rees Kruhlak shot an 82 to take the the Bellingham team’s second position, followed by Zach Nolan’s 83, Jonathan Larson at 87 and Ben Henrickson at 91.
