Jasmyne Neria won two events to lead the Lynden girls’ track and field team to a fifth-place finish on Saturday, April 18, at Franklin Pierce District Stadium.
Neria ran a winning time of 1 minute, 0.31 seconds in the 400 and ran the second leg of the Lions winning 4x400 relay team with a time of 4:12.34.
Alexa Shindruk won the 3,200 with a time of 11:37.29.
Lynden will compete in the Northwest Conference championships next at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, at Civic Stadium.
