Elle Moore won the shot put and the discus for Blaine as it took two dual wins against Meridian and Ferndale on Thursday, April 2, at Blaine.
Moore had a distance of 31 feet, 3 inches in the shot put and 98 feet in the discus.
Meridian’s Payton Lunde and Janessa Murphy had a pair of wins as Lunde won the 100 in 13.75 seconds and Murphy won the 200 in 27.38 seconds. They both were part of the winning 4x200 team that ran a 1:51.26.
Ferndale had wins by Alexandra McBeath in the 1,600 in 5:50.00 and Paige Devine in the 300 hurdles in a time of 49.65. The other Golden Eagle winner was Ema Denessen in the triple jump with a distance of 33-02.75.
