Six Bellingham girls’ golfers placed in the top 10 to lead the Red Raiders to a win on Monday, March 30, at Lake Padden Golf Course.
The Red Raiders were paced by Sadie Steele’s 51, and Erin Wood and Sarah Gibb each shot a 52 to take the second through fourth spots. As a team Bellingham scored a 263.
Sehome scored a 322 to take second, and was led by Hannah Peterson’s 53, good for fifth.
“I was pleased with how Hannah played, and I think our team is starting to come together,” Sehome coach Don Helling said in a phone interview.

Lynden had the medalist, Jade Ming, but took third with a 363 team score. Ming shot a 49 to lead all golfers by two shots.
All three teams will participate in the Whatcom County Championship at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at Sudden Valley Golf Course.
