Bellingham won four of the eight individual running events in a girls’ track meet on Wednesday, March 25, at Lynden Christian against the Lyncs and Lynden.
Mia Hodges won the 100 with a time of 13.26, Hannah Bradley won the 200 with a 27.30, Madeline Prentiss won the 400 with a 1:07.32 and Quincy Gale took the 800 with a 2:38.12 for the Red Raiders.
Lynden’s relay teams won the 4x100 and 4x200 races. The team of Lauren Zwiers, Jasmyne Neria, Lily Bogart and Cassidee Barclay ran a 52.13 in the 4x100 and a 1:49.26 in the 4x200.
Lynden Christian’s Hannah Rusnak ran a 15.49 in the 100 hurdles, putting her among the top times this season in the Northwest Conference. The Lyncs also got wins in field events from Allison Vandenberg in the shot put with a 21-foot, 9-inch throw, and Madison Weg in the high jump with a 5-02.00 jump.
All three schools will participate in the Bedlington Twilight at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 26, at Lynden.
