Jordan Thompson and Nick Faber each won two individual events for the Lynden boys’ track and field team as it lost 91-54 to Burlington-Edison on Thursday, March 19, at Lynden.
Thompson won the 110 hurdles with a 17.19-second sprint and the 300 hurdles with a 42.74. He was also on the winning 4x400 relay team that ran a 3:41.80 and included Clark Hazlett, Bryce Sterk and Trent Postma.
Faber won the high jump with a 6-foot, 1-inch jump, and also took the triple jump with a distance of 41 feet, 4 inches.
Lynden’s next meet is at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Lynden Christian.
