Sarah Ball led all runners and helped Lynden Christian’s girls’ cross country team to a win at the Lake Lap Invitational on Thursday, Oct. 16, at Lake Padden.
Ball’s time of 16 minutes, 51.33 seconds led the Lyncs. She was followed by Jillian Anderson at 17:01.7, who paced Ferndale.
Bellingham was third, led by Molly Dole’s 17:23.8. Lynden took fourth with Kornelija Houston leading 18:49.4.
Sehome’s Liana Phillips led the fifth-place Mariners with a 18:43.7.
Rounding out the top five were Ferndale’s Angie Rooth (17:16.9), and Lynden Christian’s Brianna Bruneau (17:23.09) and Taylor Ten Pas (17:23.4).
